Horner and Wolff agreed

Toto Wolff and Christian Horner rarely agree on a wide range of things, but at the team principals’ press conference in Bahrain, the heads of Mercedes and Red Bull Racing found an issue on which they fully agree. We are talking about the new structure of the FIA, in which President Mohammed bin Sulayem officially withdrew from direct interaction with Formula 1.

Toto Wolff: “We have a very clear structure. The last Formula 1 committee meeting was chaired by Nicholas Tombasis and we discussed a lot of short and long term issues.

We have to be pragmatic and work together. This has already made it possible to agree on many goals, rules and principles for their control, which guarantees an exciting show.”

“This time I agree with what Toto says! added Christian Horner. – There has been an evolution and now we have to discuss many important topics related to 2026. We need to figure out the engine and chassis regulations to determine how we want to see the world of Formula 1. There is still plenty of time for this, and in the coming months these topics will become our priority.”

A similar position is shared by the head of Ferrari Frederic Vasseur: “It is good that we start the season with a clear structure. [в FIA]that is modern and meets our needs.”
