International Automobile Federation (FIA) again contributed amendments to the regulations on the admission of riders from Russia and Belarus to competitions under their auspices.
The new version of the document, published on the organisation’s website, stipulates that drivers with dual nationality are required to sign a special document as proof of solidarity with the FIA principles of maintaining neutrality.
In particular, performances are only permitted under a neutral flag and athletes must refuse to use any national symbol.
On February 13, the FIA had already amended this article, which indicated that athletes with dual nationality who decide to compete under the flag of the country of their second nationality will not be required to sign this document.
