Athletistic / Formula 1 British Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has posted a message on his social media in support of UMMC basketball player Brittney Griner, who was arrested at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport in March this year on suspicion of smuggling hashish oil.
“It’s been over a hundred days now. We need to get her home,” Hamilton signed off as he reposted the video in support of Greiner.

Brittney Greiner is a two-time Olympic gold medalist with Team USA. Since 2015, she has been playing for UMMC Yekaterinburg, with whom she twice became Russian champion (2016, 2017).
