Williams Racing has announced that Frédéric Brousseau will take over as COO of the team, taking over in April.
Brousseau worked in the aerospace industry for over a quarter of a century and began his career at Pratt & Whitney, a well-known Canadian aircraft engine company. He made a successful career, led several divisions of this company and in April last year became vice president.
But now he decided to try himself in a new company.
Matthew SavageChairman of the Williams Racing Board: “We are delighted to invite Frederik to our team, he is an energetic and experienced leader who will help transform the team.
He started his career in the workshop, in manufacturing, and most recently has been responsible for the aerospace company’s operations on a global scale, including leading many manufacturing companies with more than 10,000 employees.
I expect him to make an important contribution to Williams Racing.”
Frederick Brousseau, COO: “When you start a new company, you experience a very pleasant feeling, because you have taken another step towards your dream. The start of the season has been very interesting and I want to join the team soon, which has such a rich historical heritage in Formula 1.
I can’t wait to get started helping everyone at Williams Racing build the future of this organization.”
