The Austrian Grand Prix will remain on the calendar until 2027

The promoters of the Austrian Grand Prix have extended the contract with Formula 1 for four years – the race in Spielberg will remain on the World Cup calendar until 2027.

Formula 1 returned to Austria in 2014 and the podium has been a constant fan favorite ever since. Last year, all tickets were sold – 303,000 spectators came to the stands of the autodrome. The 2023 Austrian Grand Prix will take place from June 30 to July 2.

Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1: “The Austrian Grand Prix offers fans the perfect combination of a challenging circuit, high-speed action and beautiful views. I am delighted that thanks to the new agreement we will continue to come to the Red Bull Ring at least until 2027.

This year we celebrate 10 years since our return to Spielberg and I would like to thank everyone involved in extending the contract, especially the promoter and Red Bull. I want to pay tribute to Dietrich Mateschitz for the love, passion and vision he brought to Formula 1. All this ensured the success of the podium and the interest in our sport in Austria and around the world.”
