Daniel Ricciardo has a somewhat unusual schedule this year: he is now back with Red Bull Racing as a reserve driver, but plans to take up his duties only in the Australian leg of the season.
At the same time, he has long been in his homeland, in Australia, where he likes to relax from the bustle of the paddock, but does not sit still and tries to maintain the necessary shape, preferring both fun and risky for this activity.
One of the fans who follow his activity on social networks even called him “Daniel RISCcardo”.
Recently, the rider shared a series of photos and videos taken at a motocross track, where he and his buddies race over rough terrain and do daring jumps off hills that serve as jumps of sorts – overall they show a pretty decent level of two-wheel technique.
“We love motorcycles. And we can’t roll. And we look crazy too,” Daniel made such a funny comment with this series of photos.
And a few days ago he posted a video of him doing a pretty decent jump on a Polaris ATV. It’s hard to say how far the car traveled in the air, but it seems the flight lasted about two seconds, if not longer.
The caption read, “My friend taught me how to minimize rubber degradation.” For persuasiveness, Riccardo added an emoji in the shape of an airplane taking off to the comment.
When Daniel talked about the plans for 2023, he talked about his dream to cross America on a motorcycle. When exactly he plans to implement this plan, Ricciardo has not specified, but he is probably engaged in motocross with a long-distance vision.
