Lewis Hamilton and Angela Cullen end partnership

Lewis Hamilton has confirmed that Angela Cullen, with whom he has worked for seven years, will no longer serve as his personal trainer and physiotherapist.

However, this weekend the former New Zealand hockey player, who has been working in the Mercedes team for a long time, is still helping Hamilton, but today both announced through social networks that they parted ways.

“For the past seven years, Angela has been by my side helping me get better,” the seven-time world champion writes. – Thanks to her, I have not only become physically stronger, but also developed as a person. I hope you’ll join me as we wish Angela the very best together as she is determined to take the next step towards her dreams.

Thank you for everything, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for you.”

Cullen, in turn, said she was waiting for “new adventures,” but didn’t say what exactly she planned to do.

“On this day exactly seven years ago, I stood in the Formula 1 paddock for the first time during the Australian Grand Prix,” Angela recalls. “Today I am happy to share the news that a new adventure awaits me.

Lewis, you are the greatest racer of all time! Working with you has been both a great honor and a pleasure for me – I am proud of you and all your achievements. Thank you for your support and for believing in me! It will be very interesting for me to follow the next chapter in your career – nothing is impossible for you. Keep believing in your self!”
