Verstappen set the fastest time in the first free practice session of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

Dutch Max Verstappen at Red Bull, he won the first test of the 2nd stage of Formula 1 – the Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia.

Verstappen’s best lap time on the Jeddah City Circuit was 1 minute 29.617 seconds. He is ahead of his Mexican teammate Sergio Perez (+0.483) and Spaniard Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin, +0.698), who complete the top three.

The top 6 included Canadian Lance Stroll (Aston Martin, +0.960), as well as two Britons in Mercedes, George Russell (+1.154) and Lewis Hamilton (+1.170).

On Friday at 8:00 p.m. (Moscow time), the second session of free races will take place as part of the stage.
