On Friday in Jeddah, the Williams drivers were closer to the end of the second ten, but they both have a normal attitude and they think the pace of the car is quite good.
Alex Albon (14th): “I think the day went quite well, the car can handle a good pace, there’s no doubt about that, so I’m pretty optimistic.
During the second practice session, when we did a simulated qualifying, there were some settings issues, but otherwise everything is going well. I don’t want to lead the way, but the car is making a good impression, so we’ll see what we can achieve.”
Logan Sargent (18th): “I think our business is going pretty well for the first day in Jeddah, everything is going according to plan. We have a good pace and I hope it can be gradually increased.
Of course this is a difficult track, but I enjoy piloting it, so I will try to add something tomorrow.”
