In Jeddah, Logan Sargent finished 16th and his teammate Alex Albon retired due to brake problems…
Logan Sargent (16e): “Today there were more problems than the day before. About thirty laps everything went well, and then the tires lost traction, it was difficult to keep the car on the track. Nevertheless, I have covered an important distance for myself, learned a lot and will feel more confident for the next race.
This weekend I proved that I can be fast even on a difficult track. I hope to continue in the same vein in Melbourne.”
Alex Albon (retirement): “I’m disappointed that I couldn’t finish. We’ve come a long way from last year and today we were able to earn points. It’s a pleasure to drive this car, but unfortunately I didn’t manage to to get the best out of qualifying and finished the race retired.
However, the most important thing is that the car has speed. Hopefully we’ll be back in action soon.”
