Yesterday we shared Carlos Sainz’s tips for dealing with the nasty side effects of long flights, such as traveling to Australia when you have to cross multiple time zones.
Spanish racer Ferrari shared these thoughts on his way from Europe to Dubai, where he was supposed to transfer to the flight to Melbourne, but the notes were interrupted, as they say, at the most interesting place.
But when the end point of the route was already close, he published a follow-up to his instructions, and now we know for sure that his technique is quite effective.
Carlos Sainz: “Let’s continue with the theme of the fight against jet lag. The flight from Dubai to Melbourne took 12 hours, of which I lasted two hours, after which I slept for 10 hours straight, because I was completely exhausted.
Landing in Melbourne at 7am local time and I plan to be up all day, try lots of light and maybe play some golf if the weather permits. I also go jogging along the river or take a rowing boat trip.
Judging by my previous experience, by seven in the evening I will already be exhausted, I will fall on my feet, but I will try to be patient.
The following photos have already been taken in Melbourne, also on the golf course, which means everything is going according to plan for Carlos.
