McLaren Racing has signed a long-term contract with Workday, which has become an official partner of the Formula 1 team. The American company is one of the leading developers and suppliers of software solutions for finance and human resources, among others.
In particular, Workday will provide McLaren with budget planning and economic forecasting software. The company’s logos will appear on the team’s boxes during the Australian Grand Prix.
Matt Dennington, Executive Director of Partnerships: “We are delighted to welcome Workday to the McLaren family. In the world of Formula 1 the level of competition is high, it is important to operate as efficiently as possible both on and off the track.
Workday will help the team improve in areas such as financial and operational planning, which will help make the right decisions. Beginning in 2023, our team will use Workday products in their work.”
