In 2022, the OKX crypto exchange became a sponsor of the McLaren team. Before the start of the race weekend in Australia, the parties announced the extension of the cooperation – OKX was given the status of official lead partner of the team and more advertising space on the car.
In seven stages of the season – in Australia, Austria, Hungary, Belgium, Singapore, Japan and Sao Paulo – OKX logos appear on the side pontoons of the MCL60. In addition, the company’s logos will appear on the overalls of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri throughout the year.
Zak Brown, Team Leader: “We are excited to expand our partnership with OKX, a longtime leader in cryptocurrencies. When working with companies that represent dynamic and fast-moving industries, such as cryptocurrencies, it is important to be on an equal footing with them as they operate to the highest standards and are responsible for educating people about new technologies.
OKX is committed to improving our interaction with fans by finding ways to bring fans closer to the team and open up the world of Formula 1 to a whole new audience.”
