Former Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) president Jean Todt has called for the ex-Formula 1 driver to quit Michael Schumacher at rest.
At the end of 2013, a German rider suffered a serious head injury following an accident. His current condition is kept secret by the Schumacher family.
– Let him be. We respect his family’s wishes for confidentiality, although of course we know that the fall had consequences. But he who says he knows something knows nothing. I visit him constantly. He and his family are my family,” Corriere della Sera quotes Todt.
Schumacher won seven Formula 1 championships during his career.
