Russian racing world at Motorsport Expo

From March 31 to April 2, Expocentre hosted the only exhibition of the racing industry in Russia. Also this year Motorsport Expo gathered the whole world of high speed!

Motorsport Expo has always attracted top racers, the best teams, journalists and loyal fans from all over the country! In 2023, the organizers of race series, heads of technical centers and circuits, as well as manufacturers and dealers of equipment, equipment and related products showed the best of the world of speed and propulsion. Motorsport Expo 2023 welcomed more than 60,000 visitors.

The racing world of Russia was represented by KAMAZ master, Anastasia Nifontova, GAZ Reid Sport, RDS GP, RDS Europe, Baikal Mile, TsTVS Moskva (Mossportobject), New Star Racing Team, MadMen, Rumo Racing Team, Mayak, ATV Deti, Artek -team.

Takayama, AIMOL, Ravenol, Volume, LAVR, JustCat Racing, Privod.ru, Swat, Kenda, Bohnenkamp, ​​​​​​BKT and many others presented their products at Motorsport Expo.

100 years of sport in Moscow was celebrated on one of the brightest stands of the exhibition of the Center for Technical Sports “Moscow”. The guests immersed themselves in the racing atmosphere, were able to discover where to start the road to professional motorsport and what opportunities are now available for those who want to go karting.

In addition, within the framework of the EDrive site, one could see prototypes of unique electric vehicles from the engineers of Moscow Polytechnic University and learn the details of the development of a new hybrid racing car.

Loud presentations on stage

Every day on the main stage of the exhibition there were presentations and meetings with the most prominent racers and key figures of motorsport in our country! Eduard Nikolaev and Dmitry Sotnikov answered questions from fans of the KAMAZ master team.

Anastasia Nifontova, again at MotorsportExpo, delighted her fans by announcing future races.

Russian Drift Series head Dmitry Dobrovolsky and pilots Grigory Burlutsky and Danila Vorobyov shared their plans for the season. RDS GP judges Vladimir Safonov and Anton Novikov spoke about the difficulties in judging angle and style.

Vyacheslav Subbotin and Mikhail Shklyaev introduced the public to the Gazelle and Sadko “combat” race cars, presented the new Sobol NN and the sport Valdai, created specifically for the Baikal Mile.

Sports commentator Vladimir Bashmakov shared with the guests of the exhibition the latest news from the world of Formula 1, NASCAR and IndyCar, talked about the “behind the scenes” of motorsport journalism, and also gave his assessment of the present and future of Russian motorsport in the world.

Exciting show program and rewarding riders

Throughout the weekend, the Expocentre street area turned into an extreme zone, where the best motorcyclists competed against each other. Extreme motofreestyle performed by “Mad Men Show” conquered all thrill seekers. And the dangerous tricks of two-time Russian stunt riding champion Nikita Prisyazhnyuk were breathtaking!

The event ended with the solemn ceremony of awarding the record holders of the anniversary Ice Speed ​​Festival “Baikal Mile 2023”.

Along with the Motorsport Expo exhibition, large-scale exhibitions of equipment and outdoor activities were held: Motovesna, Velokult, EDriv and Active Recreation.
