Aston Martin has already earned more points in the first three Grands Prix of the new season than in all of last year, with three podium finishes, but team boss Mike Krak says owner Lawrence Stroll expects more.
Mike Krak: “The mission of the team is clear. After every race, Lawrence asks when we’re going to win. He is happy that we have made a big step forward, but this is not enough to fulfill his ambitions. With Lawrence you always know what to aim for. He wants more – and we have to do it.
Behind three races on three circuits with different characteristics. We proved to be competitive at all and now we are confident that we will be fast everywhere, although the range is very wide – from long straights in Baku to no straights in Monaco. This difference will slightly affect the balance of power during the season.
Everything can happen. To qualify for victory, you must always give your best, on every track, revealing the car’s potential to 100%.
