Vettel now has much more time for bees and flowers

Sebastian Vettel now has a lot of free time that he can devote to his family and in general to the widest range of activities that he finds interesting and important at this time in his life. However, he does not miss Formula 1 races and watches them on TV.

Sebastian has already managed to travel 6,000 km through the Scandinavian countries with the whole family, and he also has much more opportunities to engage in environmental projects, because environmental issues have long been a concern for him.

“I’m glad I now have a lot more time for everything I want to do, including things like beekeeping and floriculture,” the four-time world champion recently shared, speaking at the conference of the BioBienenApfel protection project, in which he has been participating in 2021 year as ambassador of this initiative, supported by the European Union.

But Vettel also has his own private environmental project: the so-called “virtual flower meadow”. At the same time, people who are not indifferent to the environment can acquire very real shares of this “meadow” through the blockchain. However, there is, of course, a real flower garden on the territory of the Swiss estate Sebastian.

“I have a heart-shaped flower lawn there. It’s so wonderful when everything is in bloom and bees are buzzing over it,” he said.

During an interview with the German television channel RTL/ntv, Sebastian was asked how he feels about the controversial tactics of environmentalists, who sometimes use very aggressive tactics to draw public attention to environmental issues.

“You can argue whether it is right to chain yourself up somewhere, but I express my sincere sympathy for these people who take risks, because they do it out of desperation,” Vettel replied. – Although, if this prevents someone from getting to work on time or going to the hospital if treatment is urgently needed, then that is wrong. But in the end, this kind of action is a kind of cry for help.”
