Perez: The stability of the results will determine the fate of the title

After the Australian Grand Prix, Sergio Perez has grown behind Max Verstappen in the individual classification to 15 points. The Red Bull Racing driver believes that to fight for the title with a partner, it is not so much the results in individual races that are important, but the stability throughout the season.

“It all comes down to consistent results throughout the season,” Racingnews365 quoted Sergio Perez as saying. – You can get fifteen wins, but if you crash or get out of the car in the remaining races, these fifteen wins will not be enough to win the title. So I think it’s important to get to a certain level of stability and keep it race to race.

Of course, if I want to win the title, I have to be ahead of Max every weekend, while maintaining the stability of the results. We have a very fast car, I’m comfortable behind the wheel and I’m doing great.

I trust the car and I think I can get the most out of it, given the level of development the team maintains. I think it’s important to stay in the fight for the title until the end of the season.”
