The participants of the F1 Academy Women’s Racing Series have completed the first official tests. For two days, five teams, each with three riders, worked on the circuit in Barcelona.
The Spanish circuit is known to everyone, many admitted that they were very nervous getting used to the new car, but in the end everything went well.
Abby Pulling, a member of the Alpine youth program, summed up the results of the two days: “Two days of testing in Barcelona were productive. We had a lot to do with the team, but in the end we learned a lot about the car and found the right settings. We tried really hard and were able to complete the whole program, which I am very happy about.
I always try to get more out of myself and the car – and these two days have allowed us to take a step forward. Thanks to the team members for their hard work, we are now confident that we will be competitive.”
The first season of the F1 Academy will start at the end of April with an internship in Austria.
