This year, the slogan of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix is simple, but according to the organizers of the race in Imola, it fully reflects the essence of motorsport – Passione Pura, i.е. “pure passion” The slogan has taken a very prominent place on the recently presented poster dedicated to the upcoming sixth stage of the World Championship, scheduled for May 19-21.
The official poster was published just over a month before the race, in the center we see the cars of three teams directly related to Italy. Everything is clear with Ferrari and AlphaTauri, they are based in this country and the Swiss Sauber has been operating under the Alfa Romeo brand since 2019. The train behind the wagons is painted in the three colors of the Italian flag.
The poster was commissioned by the Italian motorsport federation ACI and, in addition to racing cars, has other elements that evoke associations with Formula 1, including a crowd of fans in red and stylized silhouettes of architectural monuments in the province of Emilia. – Romagna.
The hashtag #WeDriveIT attracts attention, which cannot be unequivocally translated, but in this case it indicates Italy’s desire (the third word in it is not accidentally capitalized) for different kinds of achievements, including in the sport. And in a smaller font at the bottom, another motto was added: “Let’s make Italy take pole position.”
This motto should be interpreted as broadly as possible, as it relates not only to racing and the world of motorcycles, but also to other areas of life – industry, tourism, gastronomic traditions of the Apennine Peninsula and winemaking. Admittedly, if the Italians have really succeeded in the latter two areas, there is no doubt that their affairs in Formula 1 have not been going well this year. Although of course the fans hope that Ferrari will be able to catch up with the championship leaders, and the other two teams will also add.
