In 2026, Audi will make its debut as a supplier of power plants / Work is already underway in this direction. The development team at Audi Formula Racing headquarters in Neuburg will grow to 300 employees by the end of the year.
The tests of the engine prototype started at the end of last year. The first fully hybrid powertrain, consisting of a combustion engine, an electric motor, a battery and an electronic control unit, should run on a test bench before the end of the year and form the basis for a future car concept.
