In the 2023 Russian Drift Grand Prix, the high-tech motor oil brand Takayama will be the title partner of the professional racing team Forward Auto.
The 14th season of RDS GP will start on April 29! True to tradition, it starts with a race at the Moscow Raceway. Fans are waiting for crazy speeds, super-powered cars, lots of smoke and a fierce battle for podium places!
This year we are waiting for seven clear podiums. The favorite of the season is the 2022 championship team, but now with a new name: Takayama Forward Auto.
The roster has also been revamped and is represented by the well-known Gocha (Georgy Chivchyan), the ambitious Roman Tivodar and the promising young pilot Timofey Dobrovolsky. Together they are ready to defend the title on 900 hp cars in a completely new design, built on the basis of the Nissan Silvia S15!
Alexander Smirnov, Team Director Takayama Forward Auto: “We have a lot of changes in the new season: a new driver, a new design and, for the first time in the team’s history, the support of a title partner. We are happy to have the opportunity to collaborate and learn from colleagues at Takayama. The company’s philosophy is based on Japanese traditions and fits perfectly into the culture of drifting. I believe that through joint efforts we can reach new heights in motorsport.”
