Athletistic/ Formula 1. 2016 world champion Nico Rosberg has explained the reasons behind his decision to end his career immediately after winning the championship.
“As Formula 1 champion I was at the peak of my racing career, but there were exciting new projects ahead of me that I was able to pursue after my career ended.
However, the decision was made for a different reason. I was afraid of not being fast enough if I continued to perform”, quotes Nico Rosberg of the GrandPrix.
Rosberg announced his retirement during the winter break ahead of the 2017 season.
