As for my future, I have a contract with McLaren for next year, that’s for sure. In addition, I am involved in the team and I want everything to go well with us. Of course the results of the past two weekends were not with me, moreover I did not escape the accident.
But I want to prove that people are wrong, and I myself really want to reflect back the moments we had in Monza last year. But if people want to talk, let them talk, I’m not going to stop them.
Together with my engineers, we know we can fight for the win again. I know how I feel behind the wheel of this car, I know what I’m capable of, I still have a fighting spirit. Yes, the results are far from the best now, but it just makes me work to get back to higher positions. And I know that the team fully supports me.
