The feature film is dedicated to Formula 1 and tells the story of a former racing driver (Brad Pitt) who became the owner of the team, but decided to return to the wheel to help his debutant partner.
Lewis Hamilton acts as a consultant and one of the film’s producers. Filming will begin at Silverstone in July as part of the British Grand Prix.
As the Daily Mail found out, Brad Pitt was given permission to drive around the circuit behind the wheel of a car resembling Formula 1 during the parade of pilots before the start of the British Grand Prix. The images captured will be used in the movie.
The publication quotes a source who spoke of the filming as saying: “Imagine how incredible and surreal the images will be for viewers and fans in the stands at Silverstone when Brad Pitt leads the parade of pilots at the British Grand Prix.”
