Supervisor “Alpha Tauri” Franz Tost will step down after the end of the current season “Formula 1” according to the team’s press office.
He will be replaced by Laurent Mekis, currently sporting director. “Ferrari” .
The former managing director of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), Peter Bayer, will take over as managing director of Alfa Tauri.
In November 2005, Tost was appointed team manager of the Toro Rosso team, which now competes in Formula 1 as Alfa Tauri. All these years, the 67-year-old Austrian has always led the Faenza team. One of the Russian Formula 1 drivers, Daniil Kvyat, was part of his team.
From April 28 to 30, the fourth stage of the 2023 Formula 1 season will take place in Baku.
