Williams drivers are through to the second part of qualifying and are optimistic about the rest of the weekend…
Alex Albon (13th): “The fight was very exciting, I liked it. We aim to make it to the final of qualifying, but the slightest mistake will deprive you of this chance. It’s great to take part in such a battle, but it’s a shame if it doesn’t go according to your scenario.
I lost time next to Carlos, but I can’t say he hindered me, it’s just that these cars are too sensitive. But tomorrow there is another chance, there are still many races ahead, I am optimistic.
No one managed to work a long distance on Friday, so the race could be chaotic. It is important not to make any mistakes and hope that we can gain back a few places.”
Logan Sargent (15th): “Qualifying went well. The whole team was successful and for the first time in my career I went to the second session. It seems like I’ve been waiting for this for a long time.
I’m happy that I was able to do a circle under pressure in the first session, I tried to repeat it in the second session but failed a bit. Overall a positive day, I really want everything to be ok tomorrow as well.
