Grosjean received Lotus-era Alpine podium trophies

Roman Grosjean shared the good news with the fans: the Alpine team gave him the trophies he won in his time playing for the Lotus F1 Team.

From 2012 to 2015 Grosjean has been on the podium ten times and now that he races in the American IndyCar Series and lives in Florida with his family, his new home allows him to collect a full collection of trophies.

“Thank you Alpine F1 for sending me my Formula 1 trophies. Two more trophies are on the way. Now I can show all this to my children, which I am very proud of!” – Roman thanked the team from Enstone, for which he was chasing at a time when it was not private and did not have factory status.

One of the first to comment on the photo he posted on his social media pages was Alex Rossi, who raced in Formula 1 for Manor in 2015, when Grosjean was about to end his partnership with Lotus.

“I won’t lie, it all looks great!” said Rossi, who now drives IndyCar for Arrow McLaren.

It is true that Grosjean did not specify whether he received all these cups forever or only for temporary storage. In any case, his trophy collection is steadily growing: over the years of appearances in IndyCar he has already won pole positions three times and climbed the podium six times, so victory is most likely not far away.
