Wolff to lecture at Harvard Business School

Mercedes co-owner and team leader Toto Wolff has been appointed a fellow at Harvard Business School and will be a guest lecturer alongside Professor Anita Elbers.

Toto Wolff will share his knowledge about high-performance leadership, organizational culture and personal effectiveness with MBA students.

In 2021, Harvard Business School professor Anita Elbers was given access to the Mercedes team, where she supervised race preparation and participation, as well as performance analysis. Elbers’ work resulted in a Harvard Business School case study entitled “Toto Wolff and the Formula 1 Mercedes Team”.

In addition, Albers and Wolff collaborated on an article for Harvard Business Review’s monthly non-fiction magazine “Formula One Number One,” in which Professor Elbers laid out Wolff’s leadership philosophy in six lectures to help leaders develop a winning culture.

In January 2024, Toto Wolff and Anita Elbers will deliver an innovative short course on “Mercedes in Formula 1: Leading a High-Performing Team” for first and second year MBA students.

Toto Wolff: “I am honored and privileged to continue to work with incredibly bright young minds at Harvard. Every time I come to campus, I am inspired by the curiosity and ambition of students, and I leave inspired by the special learning atmosphere they create together with excellent teachers.”
