Verstappen: Must be prepared for hot weather in Miami

Red Bull Racing drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez are gearing up for a race weekend in Miami that promises to be physically demanding due to the hot weather, and look forward to continuing their winning streak at the fifth round of the season.

Max Verstappen: “I’m looking forward to the podium in Miami. Physically, the track is difficult – last year it was very hot, so we have to be ready for such conditions. It certainly won’t be easy – the track itself is quite difficult, this year the organizers moved the asphalt, so let’s see how this will affect our speed.

Fans have developed a special coloring of the car for this weekend. I can’t wait to see her!”

Sergio Perez: “I’m looking forward to the Miami round and I hope we can maintain the competitiveness we showed in Baku. Last weekend I felt as confident as possible behind the wheel – we had two perfect races where we were able to bring all the components together.

I have always said that at the beginning of the season it is necessary to perform consistently, and in Baku we succeeded. In the final phase, we saw a great example of how to work, and my team performed great.

Physically, Miami is one of the toughest races of the season, so I worked hard to prepare. Hot weather affects performance and riders must cope with this weekend feature to perform well.
