Valttery Bottas: “We did not perform well in Baku, but we have drawn conclusions and are looking forward to another weekend. I’m happy to be back in Miami, I have fond memories of last year’s race, how great we were received in Florida.
We need to improve the results quickly by getting the most out of the car. We are more motivated than ever. Now everything seems difficult, but there are still many races ahead in which we want to perform as well as possible. Looking forward to getting behind the wheel again this weekend. I’m ready for a new challenge.”
Guanyu Zhou: “Ahead of another race weekend, a good opportunity to forget the failure in Baku. Last year I didn’t get a good result in Miami, so this time I have even more energy to fight.
We expected more from the first races of the season, but we are determined to do everything we can to get back to the fray. The results this year are very compact, tenths and hundredths of a second count. But we have seen that if everything works, the results will come. Everyone on the team works hard. I am sure that we will soon take the step forward that we are aiming for.”
