Nico Hulkenberg has never competed in Miami before, but last year he drove a few laps around the new Florida circuit in an Aston Martin sports car and also studied it in a simulator. The Haas driver thinks he should watch the VF-23.

I’ve never driven this track before and obviously I have a lot to figure out, although I did a few laps here last year in a regular sports car. It was fun, and it’s still better than nothing, but of course you really need to get to know the track behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car.
In addition, there are minor changes on track and I am already looking forward to getting started in training. I had a lot of fun doing the simulator, the track seems interesting to me, so I’m ready to get going and work hard in the cockpit.
The weekend in Baku was not easy for us for several reasons, but I hope the circuit in Miami suits our car better.
