Valtteri Bottas did not score any points in the previous three races. The Alfa Romeo driver hopes to end a streak of losses in Miami, but admits the team is in for a tough weekend.
Valtteri Bottas: “I flew to Miami on Monday, I was busy, but everything is going well. It’s nice to see everyone ready for the weekend and looking forward to the race with enthusiasm.
In Miami, the team will not have the easiest weekend, but we have a chance to earn points – that’s the goal. In Baku I had damage to my car on the first lap, so the race dragged on quite a long time for me, but this weekend we will try to compete again.
Last year the Miami circuit was closing in on our car, and I hope it will be the same this weekend, but it’s hard to predict. The tarmac has been changed for this year’s race, so we don’t know what the grip will be like. We’ll see, but we need glasses.”
