Kevin Magnussen (4th): “I am very satisfied! Excellent qualification! Fourth place at the start in the US, on home track for the team and our title sponsor – amazing!
Of course we know there are no points for qualifying, but on Saturday we showed great speed, which gives good chances on Sunday.”
Nico Hulkenberg (12th): “Today the car allowed me to fight in the top ten, but I didn’t do well on the last attempt on fresh tyres, so my time on the rolled set was the best.
It’s a shame it happened, but it’s clear that the Miami track is right for our car – on Sunday I’ll do everything I can to achieve more. The most important thing is that we have speed.”
