On Sunday, many world sports stars gathered in Miami. Among them is the former world number one racket, 20-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer. This is not the Swiss tennis player’s first visit to the Formula 1 round and in today’s race he will support Lewis Hamilton.
Roger Federer: “This is my third time on the Formula 1 podium. The first time I was in Abu Dhabi, when Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg were fighting for the title. The second time I came last year to qualify in Barcelona where I also had a great time. Then the atmosphere seemed more relaxed to me. And now I’m in Miami – it’s great to be back and have a good time.
Max Verstappen has a great car and an excellent driver himself, but I still hope that Lewis has a great race and season ahead of him. I’m glad I had a lot of chances to meet him, so I wish Lewis the best. But, I repeat, Max performs brilliantly.
