Williams missed points in Miami, Alex Albon finished 14th and Logan Sargent started and finished last…
Alex Albon (14th): “Today we didn’t have enough speed, so the race turned out to be difficult. We assumed our car would be ninth in speed, and that’s pretty much what happened.
We tried to control the condition of the tires, but they didn’t give good grip and the car slid. We are not suited to the tracks on which the next races will take place, and the rivals have already updated the cars several times, so it is inevitable that we will roll back. To fight them, we must do everything perfectly. There are also positive moments, but races like today reveal our weaknesses, which we have seen again.
Logan Sargent (20th): “On the first lap I mispositioned the car and ripped the front fender off, which started more problems. My apologies to the team for this error.
On a long run of hard tire laps I did well. Then the tires started to lose their efficiency, but that was to be expected. Despite the bad race, I still enjoyed this weekend.”
