AlphaTauri recently confirmed that team boss Franz Tost will be replaced next year by Laurent Mekis, who has an active contract with Ferrari. The Scuderia were not ready for such a statement and after a pause (according to rumor) they offered an exchange – we will release Mekis and you release three senior Red Bull engineers. One of them is the right hand of Adrian Newey, the famous aerodynamicist Pierre Vache.
