Lando Norris brings happiness to Valentino Rossi

Valentino Rossi, the legendary Italian motorcycle racer, always won on two wheels, but after the end of his career in MotoGP, he switched to car racing and it cannot be said that he was successful.

Last year, speaking for the Belgian WRT team, Rossi finished the season in the GT World Challenge series in just 21st place in the individual standings. In 2023 he will continue working at WRT, but he will not drive an Audi, but a BMW M4 GT3, and yesterday he climbed the podium for the first time.

Valentino finished second in the sprint race on the classic British circuit at Brands Hatch before rejoicing as if he had won.

One of those who came to the track to cheer him on on Sunday was Lando Norris, after which the McLaren team shared a photo of them taken on the day Rossi achieved his first success. The comment accompanying the photo was: “What to do when there are no Formula 1 races? Instead, you should go to the track to see your idol perform.

Of course, thousands of McLaren and Norris fans liked the photo, including probably many of those who have never missed a single race with the participation of the nine-time MotoGP champion. And one of them wrote: “Looks like Lando brings Valentino a lot of luck as he got on the podium for the first time when Norris was on track.”
