Pilot “Mercedes” Lewis Hamilton made it clear that he would be racing the Canadian Grand Prix in “Formula 1” despite the health problems that haunted him during the stage in Azerbaijan.
Earlier, team manager Toto Wolf said the Briton could miss the championship stage in Canada due to back pain. The seven-time world champion’s level of discomfort was so severe that he nearly lost control of himself on several occasions and was barely able to save the car from a crash.
Even when it hurts, we get up anyway. Thank you for your love, see you next week,” Hamilton wrote on social media.
The Briton is sixth in the F1 driver standings this season with 62 points.
The Canadian Grand Prix will be held from June 17 to 19.
