Formula 1 teams and drivers supported the decision to cancel the Imola stage due to flooding in the Emilia-Romagna region. Aston Martin boss Mike Krak expressed the general view that it was unsafe to race in such conditions.

The team is looking forward to next week’s race weekend in Monaco.”
