Russian Daniel Kvyat did not rule out a possible return to Formula 1 if he received such an offer.
In April, Kvyat became a factory driver for the Lamborghini Squadra Corse team which will compete in the 2024 World Endurance Championship (WEC). The racer is racing under an Italian license.
– In “Formula 1” there is constant struggle and pressure, including in the press. Many trips around the world. Sometimes years in a row. So it’s good to take a break. Would I agree to come back? I don’t think about it much, but why not? It’s cool to be part of this series of races, — quotes the words of Kvyat GPBlog.
Kvyat competed in Formula 1 for Red Bull and Alfa Tauri (formerly Toro Rosso) in 2014-2017 and 2019-2020. Previously, he participated in the NASCAR series. In March, Kvyat became third in the first stage of the WEC World Championship in the LMP2 category at Sebring (USA) with the Prema Racing team.
