Bottas: I already felt a change for the better

Valttery Bottas (8th): “Have a good, productive day so we can try out our new products. I have already felt the changes for the better, but there is still work to be done to maximize their potential. However, this is a positive sign. In a fierce battle between teams in the middle group, any progress can have a very serious impact.

All in all an interesting day. My grip improved with every lap, as did my confidence, which is always the case in Monaco. Traffic was bothering everyone, but today we were well aware of the situation.

Now we have to concentrate on qualifying: the feeling is positive, if we can add some more during the night, we can go into battle.

Guanyu Zhou (13th): “Nice day. In the first session it was not easy to find the optimal rhythm, but in the second session we improved a lot.
