Before the start of the race weekend in Monaco, Valtteri Bottas unveiled another helmet designed by his Australian girlfriend, Tiffany Cromwell.
This time the helmet is dedicated not only to Monaco, but also to the famous Pac-Man arcade video game, which mankind has enjoyed playing for more than 40 years. This is how the Finnish Alfa Romeo driver explained the reason for such an original choice.
“The racing helmet for the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix is inspired by the Pac-Man game – although it actually has Bot-Man on it! Valtteri remarked cheerfully. – Because Monaco is also a kind of labyrinth, that became a source of inspiration.
As you can see there are no Pac-Mans but Formula 1 cars driving through the labyrinth for example you can go to the Rascasse corner to have a beer, you can head towards the tunnel, charge the battery in the Casino room, then play games, refuel at Sainte Devote corner – and stuff like that.
Tiffany has come up with another cool design for a helmet made by Stilo. And when the game is over, you can start all over again!”
