Before the start of the Spanish weekend, Lewis Hamilton spoke with interest about the upcoming review of the new products prepared by the team…
Lewis Hamilton: “In Monaco I felt we had taken a step in the right direction in finalizing the car, now I really want to evaluate the effect of these new products in Barcelona.
This job never suited our car. But now we’re coming out of turn 12 with the throttle fully depressed – looking forward to seeing how the car behaves in turns 13 and 14 – two fast right turns. The load on the neck muscles will be great there, as well as on the left front tire, but it should be fun!
In Monaco, we did not collect enough information about the work of new products, on such a track you cannot feel how they affect the car. But Barcelona is the perfect test track. It’s a great combination of medium speed and fast cornering so we can see where we stand against the rest.”
