Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc will start from the pit lane during the Spanish Grand Prix. This was announced to RacingNews365 by team engineer Jock Clear.
– In qualifying, Charles was very uncomfortable driving the car. We replaced the gearbox, inspected the rear of the car to make sure it was working. Therefore, Leclerc will have to start from the pit lane. We think he will do it with confidence and hope we help him get his points back,” he said.
Leclerc missed qualifying, only taking 19th place. After the race, he said the car’s handling on the track was not what he expected, pointing to a problem with the rear wheels.
The Spanish Grand Prix race will take place on Sunday, June 4 from 4:00 p.m. (Moscow time).
