George Russell (3e): “Of course the result was a bit surprising. Credit and credit to our team for preparing a great car for me today!
It was a fun race because I started 12th and finished third. I hope these are all signs of a change for the better for us and for the team. So we’re definitely in a better mood already and today we just had to do laps with good times, compare our results with the pace of rivals, with Ferrari and Aston Martin, and try to go faster and faster.
We know we were able to increase the downforce of our car, which made it more comfortable to fly, and I’m just happy to have been able to get on the podium.
