Last year, seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton and his manager Penny Thaw founded a film production company, Dawn Apollo Films. The company has two projects in development for the Apple+ streaming service: a feature film about Formula 1 starring Brad Pitt and a documentary about Lewis’ own career.
Filming with Pitt will begin in Silverstone in July and a documentary about Lewis is in the works.
“I’m already filming my documentary with Apple,” Racingnews365 quoted Lewis Hamilton as saying. – I still have a weird feeling when people with cameras follow me all the time, but this project is about my life, my career and my story, which has brought me to where I am today. I hope this film will inspire children, as I was inspired by the documentary about Ayrton Senna.
Maybe our project is something new and fresh for a child who comes home from school, watches this movie and starts dreaming. I hope my story will inspire kids to achieve something great for themselves.”
