Lando Norris advised looking at Alpine

Lando Norris has repeatedly said he has no regrets about his decision to sign a multi-year contract with McLaren, which expires at the end of 2025. However, the British rider is advised to look at alternatives.

Commentator and journalist Peter Windsor suggested on his YouTube channel that Lando could switch teams after the end of the current contract.

“I think there’s a small chance that Lando will go to Alpine,” says Windsor. “He has to wait another year, but Alpine is doing well and they have a lot of support behind them.

I’m only saying this because I’m trying to figure out what other options Lando has. And moving to Alpine can be interesting. Now it’s not easy for them, but they’re a pretty good team.”

At the same time, Windsor doubted Norris would move to Red Bull Racing while Max Verstappen is in the team: “I’m sure Lando doesn’t want to be number two under Max, but I believe at this stage of his career he’s thinking about moving for Red Bull and only think about how cool it is to drive their car.

But does he also think about other aspects of playing for Red Bull? How will he beat Max Verstappen and what will happen if Lando just turns out to be a good number two? I wouldn’t rule out that option.
