Lewis Hamilton’s brother wrote a book about his life

Nicholas Hamilton, the younger brother of the seven-time world champion, wrote a book about his life because he believes that the experience gained can be useful to others.

Nicholas suffers from congenital cerebral palsy and when he was one and a half years old, doctors predicted that he would never learn to walk and would be permanently confined to a wheelchair. However, he not only disproved these prophecies, but also became the first British driver with a disability and now competes in the BTCC National Touring Car Championship.

The book has a rather original and lengthy title, which can be translated as “Now that I have your attention” with the subtitle “7 lessons on how to live a more colorful life than you might expect.”

My first book has been announced! Nicholas shared on social media. “This is a very important day and it is a great honor for me. When I was growing up, in my parents’ circle and among my acquaintances there were no disabled people whose example could lead. There were no books about this topic and there was no one to learn from.

31 years later I wrote this book. The aim is not only to inspire people with disabilities, but everyone in general. I am ready to share my experience with others and I hope that with this book I can also help you reach your full potential.”

In the UK, Nicholas Hamilton’s book will be published by Radar in April.
