Nico Hulkenberg is optimistic about the Canadian weekend…
Q: In Spain you had a great qualifying and said you feel at one with the car. Is there anything in particular that made that connection, or did you just hit the right beat?
Nico Hulkenberg: During a fast lap behind the wheel of this car, I often feel at ease. The tires warm up quickly, I can get the most out of their potential. But on long stretches of circles on some circuits there are sometimes problems with the tyres. It is clear that we need to improve in this area.
Q: Leading up to the Canadian Grand Prix, have you earned points in all races at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve since 2014. Impressive result! What do you like about this song?
Nico Hulkenberg: I like the track in Montreal, smooth, combining the characteristics of street and stationary. The whole city lives from Formula 1, we are very warmly welcomed.
Q: This weekend your teammate Kevin Magnussen will hold his 150th Grand Prix…
Nico Hulkenberg: Congratulations to Kevin on this achievement! When someone spends so many races in Formula 1, it speaks to his professionalism over the years.
